Donna Drerup, RN, MSN - Director of Operations |
|
| |
Donna has twenty six years of healthcare experience. She received her RN in 1984 and began her nursing career in the areas of emergency room and endoscopy lab nursing. In 1994, she earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington. In the same year, Donna began her ASC management experience with the development and management of Fort Worth Endoscopy Center as administrator for Endoscopy Center Affiliates (Eventually HealthSouth).
The success of the first endoscopy center necessitated development of Southwest Fort Worth Endoscopy Center within the first 5 years. She managed both centers successfully and by the end of her tenure collectively the two centers were performing 10,000 endoscopy procedures annually.
After leaving HealthSouth, Donna joined Cirrus Health as the Director of Nursing at Cirrus Health’s North Texas Hospital. She was a part of the development and management team for three years. She was responsible for all daily clinical operations of the hospital.
In 2007, she joined HCA to complete development and serve as the administrator for Trinity Park Surgery Center in Arlington, Texas. In the first three years, Trinity Park grew to an average of 450 cases per month and annualized net revenue of $7.5 million. |
